Dr. Dhruva Chaudhry is presently Senior Professor & Head, department of Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine, University of Health Sciences Rohtak. Earlier he was Dean faculty of Medical super-specialities at PTBDS UHS, Rohtak & general. He is aluminums of PGIMER Chandigarh & PGIMS, Rohtak. He was awarded prestigious Commonwealth Academic staff fellowship in Pulmonology in 2009. He is also recipient of Hansraj Nayyar Memorial Award of ISCCM. He is a fellow of Indian College of Critical Care & Indian College of Physicians.

He has written more than 40 Papers in national/International journal &15 chapters in books. Prof. Chaudhry is on the editorial board & also a regular reviewer in peer review journals in Chest,critical care & allied specialties. He is the immediate past General Secretary of ISCCM, remained Accreditation Co-ordinator of ISCCM for 4 years & executive member for 6 years . He has also been the co-author of guidelines on NIV & Tropical fever in ICU. He is also the founding executive member of Indian College of Critical care of ISCCM. He edited & wrote monograph on Antibiotic- Uses & abuses for API in 2015.

Prof. Chaudhry has established the Department of PCCM in his institute. Department has been approved & recognised by MCI for DM in Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine from Year 2011. He has held various academic & administrative positions in the institute & University& has been member of selection committees of various teaching medical institutions . He is a regular inspector for both National Board of Examination (NBE) & MCI, Examiner for UG & PG and Post Doctoral Courses of various Universities.
